An archive of outsiders.

Description
An experimental editorial identity and digital platform celebrating outsiders, emerging voices and ideas that resist easy categorisation.

A magazine for the people and ideas shaping culture from its edges. Notable names that no one knows.

OUTLAW is an experimental magazine created to document the people, ideas and subcultures shaping culture beyond the mainstream. Conceived as an archive of outsiders, it gives space to emerging voices, overlooked stories and creative practices that resist easy categorisation.
Created as a Minchki Studio Lab project, OUTLAW explores what an independent cultural publication could look and feel like today. Its editorial world moves between fashion, art, music, technology and internet culture, organising stories through an unconventional system of themes including Chaos, Nature, Stable and Stage.
Our approach combines the confidence of a traditional magazine masthead with a more unruly digital language. Oversized typography, contrasting editorial typefaces and unexpected compositions create a visual system that feels authoritative without becoming institutional. A vivid orange horse mark adds movement and character, referencing the independent spirit at the heart of the publication.
The identity extends across editorial layouts, a digital magazine experience and social content. Together, the system creates a flexible platform for stories that feel intelligent, provocative and slightly outside the lines.
